Terms for the YDWWT promotional competition
1. Promotion terms. Entry into the YDWWT promotional competition (the “Promotion”) is dependent on your acceptance of these terms and conditions and by entering the Promotion you confirm your acceptance of these terms and conditions. All entrants must be 18 years old or over. By entering the Promotion, all entrants represent and warrant that they have the right to submit the information used to enter the Promotion. All entrants further acknowledge and agree that Tines may use any aspect of their entry for any reason (including, but not limited to, publicity and promotional purposes). Tines reserves the right to disqualify any entry in the event Tines has a good faith belief that such entry (i) does not comply with these terms and conditions, (ii) violates applicable laws or regulations, or (iii) otherwise poses a security threat to Tines or other participants.
2. Prizes. All prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash. Winning entrants are responsible for any applicable taxes, fees, or other liabilities arising from the acceptance of the prize. In the event of circumstances outside of Tines’ control, Tines reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value. Tines accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with any prize which are not specifically included in that prize (including, without limitation, meals, personal expenses, insurance and travel expenses in connection with the prize). The prize details are as set forth below.
3. Compliance with applicable policies. Each entrant is responsible for ensuring such entrant’s compliance with any rules, regulations, or other restrictions applicable to entrant due to such entrance’s employment or affiliations. Tines makes no representation that the Promotion complies with any federal, state, or local government agency gifting regulations.
4. No warranty; limitation of liability. This Promotion and any prize associated therewith are provided "as is” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. In no event shall the Tines’ total liability to you for all damages, losses, or causes of action exceed the price of the prize.
5. Modification or cancellation. Tines reserves the right at any time to time to modify or discontinue, the Promotion with or without prior notice.
6. Privacy policy. Entrant agrees that Tines may process any information submitted in accordance with Tines’ Privacy Policy, located at tines.com/legal.
7. Specific promotion details:
a. Entry prize: Each entrant shall receive Tines swag or other memorabilia, to be determined at the discretion of Tines.
b. Category winners: Tines will determine a select number of winners based on certain categories and criteria to be determined at the discretion of Tines. Such winners will receive a gift package compiled by Tines.
c. Grand prize:
i. The grand prize of the YDWWT competition includes an invitation and travel (as set forth below) to Tines’ Security Automation and Roadshow event. Up to two people may team up to submit a story to the competition and be eligible for the overall winner prize.
ii. Travel shall mean economy class flights and three nights hotel accommodation, up to a maximum value of $2,500 per person (2 people total if submitted jointly). If the winning entrant requires travel costing over $2,500, they will be responsible for the additional cost. Travel arrangements will be made by Tines, and any additional costs or changes will be the responsibility of the winner.
